Hello Future SHS Grads and Families,

This is a very exciting time of year at SHS and a huge milestone for our seniors. In 2011 they walked through the doors in grade primary. Now in 2024, they will be walking across the stage as a high school graduate. This day has been 13 years in the making!

Over the next several weeks you will be receiving information about graduation day and events leading up to the event. Here is some important info to get you started.

Graduation Date

Graduation will be held on June 27th at 9:30am in our school gymnasium. Due to fire code and space restrictions, each student will be allotted four (4) tickets for the event.

There will be a grad rehearsal on June 25th, at 10:28 am. It is important that all grads attend. This is also when grad gowns, hats and tickets will be passed out.

Grad Google Classroom

All grade 12 students have been added to google classroom dedicated to our grads. This site is updated regularly and has all the information you and your child need to prepare for graduation. Please review with your child and have them check in on a regular basis.

Grad Fees

A graduation fee of $25.00 will be charged to help cover the cost of caps, gowns, and grad packages. Fees can be paid in the main office or through school cash (link below). Please be aware that there is a small service fee for online payments. If financial support is required, please reach out and we are happy to help.

Grad Gowns

Grad gowns will be ordered mid April. In order for your grad to look their best and have a properly fitting gown, please take the time to complete the Grad Gown Order form. Please click on the link below to place your order. It is important that all fields are filled in.

Grad Profiles

Grad profiles are read as your graduate crosses the stage. Please ensure that your child completes their profile (to the level of their comfort) so we can share their future goals and celebrate their achievement, please also include any scholarships they may have received. Grad Breakfast

Our annual Grad Breakfast will be held on Thursday, May 2nd. Grad Breakfast is for students only, where we share additional information about the big day, highlight what to expect, answer questions, but more importantly, have an opportunity to celebrate together. Our grads do not need to prepare anything, just show up to the cafeteria and enjoy the morning.
