Grade 9 Social
Calling all grade nines!! The grade 9 social will be Thursday, May 2nd from 6:00-8:00. It will be a PJ night full of games, challenges, free food, and fun! We hope to see all grade nines there!
Track & Field
Track and Field practice today in the gym from 3:00-4:00. Please attend.
Field Hockey
Girl's Field Hockey plays in the Citadel Tournament today at 6:30 vs Sacred Heart and 9:00 pm vs Citadel.
Scholarship Application
The scholarship applications are now available for pickup in the main office.
Green Team
The Green Team will be collecting old and used cell phones until the end of April! If you have any lying around the house, please bring them into student services by April 30th. Let's show the Earth that we care!
Opportunity Place
Do you need a resume? Do you have one but you think it needs some work? Due to the high demand of students looking for help with resumes, Mrs. Tasco will be holding resume workshops in her room (next to the gym) on selected dates between April 29th and May 7th. For more info, please see Mrs. Tasco directly. Don't delay, space is limited!
In preparation for the May 14th event, "Careering and Volunteering", here at Sackville High, Mrs. Tasco is seeking several volunteers to help out with planning, designing posters, creating awareness, and set-up /clean-up for the day of the event. This is a great opportunity to gain or improve your employment skills, add to your resume, and help out with a fun event! Please see Mrs. Tasco next to the gym asap if interested.
Choir
Concert Band will be on Friday this week and next week.
Blue Green Project
Attention Girls: Friday May 3, there will be a Pizza Lunch Workshop from 11:30 - 12:15. Dalhousie University will introduce their "Blue-Green Project" that includes topics of the Ocean, Environmental Technology, Agri-Food and Bioproduct. First 20 girls to sign up will be accepted. Sign up is on the door of Room 229A, across from the library.

Tickets on an Aboriginal Mandala are on sale in room 229A. Proceeds to go to the Aboriginal program. Tickets are $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00.
The Aboriginal program is looking for any Aboriginal students interested in becoming the Aboriginal Rep for Student Council. If interested, please see Theresa Meuse in room 229A.
May 6, will be wear red day in recognition of the Missing & Murdered Aboriginal Women. Students can also show their support by creating a faceless doll that will be set up in the lobby during lunch.
