Prom
Prom Committee will be hosting a bake sale during parent teacher. It will be April 30th from 1-3pm. We are selling homemade goods and coffee. We will only be able to accept cash.
Prom contracts are due Wednesday, May 1. You cannot buy a ticket without a contract.

Student Council
If you are interested in being a part of the Student Council 2019-2020, then pick up your application form from the office or from Mrs. Mullane in room 111. deadline to return for executive is May 2, 2019, all other positions by May 8, 2019.
FriendZone
Tonight is FriendZone at The Den at the Sackville Library from 6-8pm. Ages 16-19 are all welcome. FriendZone offers a safe place to have fun, relax and make new friends. Tonight is BUILD YOUR OWN SUNDAE and BOARDGAMES. NO registration required....Just come.
Field Hockey
Congratulations to the girls field hockey team as they captured bronze in the Citadel tourn this weekend beating Prince Andrew 2-0 in penalty strokes. The team plays today at 4:30 at Halifax West. This game determines playoff standings! Go Kingfishers!
Track & Field
Track & Field practice  Weds / Thurs at 3:00. Please do some training on your own on Tues. All practices will now be at Met Field.
Grade 9 Social
Calling all grade nines!! The grade 9 social will be Thursday, May 2nd from 6:00-8:00. It will be a PJ night full of games, challenges, free food, and fun! We hope to see all grade nines there!
Scholarship Application
The scholarship applications are now available for pickup in the main office.
Green Team
The Green Team will be collecting old and used cell phones until the end of April! If you have any lying around the house, please bring them into student services by April 30th. Let's show the Earth that we care!
Opportunity Place
Do you need a resume? Do you have one but you think it needs some work? Due to the high demand of students looking for help with resumes, Mrs. Tasco will be holding resume workshops in her room (next to the gym) on selected dates between April 29th and May 7th. For more info, please see Mrs. Tasco directly. Don't delay, space is limited!
Blue Green Project
Attention Girls: Friday May 3, there will be a Pizza Lunch Workshop from 11:30 - 12:15. Dalhousie University will introduce their "Blue-Green Project" that includes topics of the Ocean, Environmental Technology, Agri-Food and Bioproduct. First 20 girls to sign up will be accepted. Sign up is on the door of Room 229A, across from the library.
ASSW
May 6, will be wear red day in recognition of the Missing & Murdered Aboriginal Women. Students can also show their support by creating a faceless doll that will be set up in the lobby during lunch.
Choir
Choir practice will be Wednesday this week.
