Election Results
Thank you to all students who voted yesterday. The results of the student vote were as follows: The NDP won a majority government with 68 votes The Liberals narrowly won the place of the official opposition with 19 votes The Conservatives had 18 votes The Green Party had 13 votes And the People’s Party had 3 votes Democracy matters and participating in this process will help you take advantage of this important right we have as Canadians in the future! Thanks!
Girls Soccer
Girls Soccer won against JL Isley 2 to 0. Goals scored by Idara Akpan and Faith Budge. Shut out goes to Katie McKegney and Jessica Holden in nets. The team has a 2 to 1 record. Next game is Monday Sept 27th at 4pm at Weir field against Millwood High, come out and cheer the team on.
Girls Hockey
Last Call for girls hockey..... There is a mandatory meeting today at the beginning of lunch in the gym. If you cannot make it see please Mr Morash, Mr Blanchard or Ms Coughran.
All Teams
All teams are reminded to bring their forms and team fees in to their coaches.
Boys Hockey
Boys Hockey Tryouts are Tues Sept 21st and Wed Sept 22 at 5pm Sackville Sports Stadium.
Yearbook
Anyone interested in Yearbook can meet today in room 322 with Mr.Blades at lunch. Once again anyone interested in knowing about yearbook there will be a meeting in room 322 at lunch.
Chromebooks
Any students that have not yet received their chromebooks and have passed in a permission form, please see Ms Stiles in the Library.
GSA
The Gender-Sexuality Alliance will hold its first meeting on Thursday, September 23 at lunch in room 208. It's a safe space for everyone of all genders and sexualities to meet and have a safe space to hang out and be themselves. All are welcome.
