Boys Hockey
A huge congratulations to the Boys Hockey team last night with a big 3 -2 comeback win over Millwood. It was a very intense game with Millwood up by 2 after 2 periods. Goalie Lawson Butler had a massive toe save to keep the score at 2. The game turned around with 9 minutes left when Ethan MacMillan scored, assists by Nick Langille and Jayden Hardie. The crowd went wild when Ethan MacMillan scored his second goal at the 4 minute mark assisted by Jayden Hardie. Then a minute later Matt Hayes stole the puck and made a beautiful pass over to Ethan MacMillan who pulled off a crazy deke on his Hat Trick goal to put the kingfishers up by 3-2. The whole team played their hearts out and came away with a great win and a great season. Congrats Kingfishers. A shout out to all the great fans that showed up to support their team.

Congratulations on Aiden Salter and Dawn MacKenzie on placing first in the Tourist Scavenger hunt yesterday, and to Charlee Bauer and Kylee Fraser on placing second. You can go to room 111 to collect your prize.
Thursday is Anything But a Backpack day and we want to see how creative you kingfishers can be! Come to the main lobby at lunch on Thursday for a contest. Bring your most creative ideas and bring a friend! Prizes will be awarded at the end of the contest!!!!!
