Welcome to 2018-2019! Your GSA wants you! Our very own Kingfisher Gender Sexuality Alliance will meet every second Thursday in room 202. Our first meeting is this Thursday September 13. Everyone is welcome - the only requirement for attending is wanting to be a good human!

Congrats to the boys soccer team on their big win over Cole Harbour 9-3. Jeff Comeau had 5 goals and Ricardo Sepulveda 2. The boys play Weds.

If there are any students interested in participating in the National Crystal Growing Competition happening in October, please see Mrs. Doyle tomorrow (Thursday, Sept 13th) at lunch in Room 303. The competition is open to all students ages 13-18!
Aboriginal Students
Attention Aboriginal Students: Stop by and say hi to Ms. Theresa Meuse, the Aboriginal Student Support Worker in room 229, across from the library on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Don't miss a chance to be part of any activities being planned for the program.

SPC Cards
SPC cards are a great way for students to save money at a lot of great stores. Our school is selling them for $10 and the best part is that a portion of the profits goes towards our school. There will be council members set up in the lobby at lunch or you can go buy one from Mrs Mullane in room 111. Come buy yours and start saving
Attention grade 9's –
Next week is the grade 9 Olympics. Get a group of friends and sign up your team. Sign up list is posted in the main lobby. Next week Tuesday through Friday compete for prizes.
African N.S
There will be a meeting for all grade 12 African N.S. students regarding scholarships, at lunch in room 229 with Mr. Tasco.
