Girls volleyball
The lady kingfishers got their first win of the season last night with a 3-0 sweep over the Cole Harbour Cavaliers! Emma Hill was player of the game after shutting down her long time rival, Grace Calnan, early on; and Akwaima Akpan showed that she doesn’t give up on ANY play by making two spectacular digs in a row! Great job last night, ladies!
Mascot Showdown
Attention kingfishers, mascot showdown is approaching! On November 22 our mascots will be competing at Auburn High! For only 10$ you can grab your ticket from Ms Mullane in room 111, you don’t want to miss out!

Scare Hunger
Did you know? 1/25 Nova Scotians go hungry daily. SHS Me to We invites you to help us Scare Hunger! We will be hosting a food drive, on October 31st, go door to door collecting non-perishable food items. All food donations are due to room 103 by 3pm Friday, November 2nd.
Lego Robotics
Sackville High's new LEGO Robotics club will be meeting every Tuesday and Thursday at lunch in room 107. New members welcome.

Academic Awards
Students who were not present for last week's Academic Awards or whose certificate weren't ready during the ceremony are asked to pick up their certificates from the Main Office this week.
Yearbook
The first Yearbook 2019 meeting will be held today  at lunch. Come to room 322, photographers and much more are needed.
Parking passes
A reminder to all students; you must have a SHS parking pass to park on school grounds. The application form is on the web site. Please print and complete and submit to the main office for approval and to receive your parking sticker.
