Yesterday, the football team beat West Kings by a score of 52 to 8. Bryand Sanchez and Aidan Ring rushed for touchdowns while Gavin Longmire connected with Bennet Lindala for a 35 yard touchdown catch. Garret Malloy returned a punt 85 yards to the end zone for another score. Jared Whiteway converted all seven touchdowns and kicked a 37 yard field goal. On the defensive side of the ball, Rene Zeevat locked down his side of the field with several tackles while Tyler Carr chipped in with an interception. Ben Drake also got in on the action with his first start of the season at defensive back. The Kingfishers final home game of the season before the playoffs will be this Sunday at 7 pm at the Burnside Turf against Cole Harbour.
Halloween is approaching and we have a fun week planned! Monday is multiplicity Monday, grab all your friends and twin with as many people as possible! Tuesday is toddler Tuesday so dress up as a little kid and come ride some tricycles in the lobby! Wednesday is our costume contest, everyone wear your Halloween costumes! Thursday is our spirit day so let’s see some kingfisher pride! And Friday is dia de los Muertos, or day of the dead, so come dressed formally and get your face painted!
Attention kingfishers, mascot showdown is approaching! On November 22 our mascots will be competing at Auburn High! For only $10 you can grab your ticket from Ms Mullane in room 111, you don’t want to miss out!

Join us October 31st by going door to door collecting non-perishable food donations for the beacon house! All food donations are due to room 103 by 3pm Friday November 2nd
Sackville High's new LEGO Robotics club will be meeting every Tuesday and Thursday at lunch in room 107. New members welcome.
