Clay Club
Clay club will be starting Tuesday October 30 at lunch in room 129 (Ms. West's art room). We will be meeting Tuesdays and Thurdays at lunch to make bowls for Hungry Bowls. Feel free to drop in.
Girls Hockey
Your Sackville High Girls hockey team was in action yesterday taking another big win over the Dartmouth High Spartans. The Kingfishers dominated with a 7 to 2 score…..leading your Kingfishers in scoring was number 1 in your heart and number 15 on her jersey….Mikenna Renard with 2 goals and 2 assists ….. not far behind was Madie Darragh…. Defence girl playing forward…. scoring 2 goals in the span of 4 minutes….. scoring her first goal as a Kingfisher….Number 11 Maddie Paul!! Kate Holman and Amy Hicks also each picked up a goal. Maddie Hamilton was an assistant machine dishing out 4 with Allison Withrow and Taylor Adams also picking up assists. Your Hottest team at Sackville High is in action next Monday playing Millwood Knights…its sure to be a great game….come out and show your support!!!!
Escape Room
Escape rooms are happening tonight, one night before Halloween! Get your tickets today in the main lobby at lunch. Tickets will NOT be sold at the door.

Flu season is here. The flu vaccine is the best way to protect yourself against the flu & to help prevent its spread throughout the community. The flu vaccine is Free for all Nova Scotians 6 months & older. Student Council
Halloween is approaching and we have a fun week planned! Tuesday is toddler Tuesday so dress up as a little kid and come ride some tricycles in the lobby! Wednesday is our costume contest, everyone wear your Halloween costumes! Thursday is our spirit day so let’s see some kingfisher pride! And Friday is dia de los Muertos, or day of the dead, so come dressed formally and get your face painted!
Mascot Showdown
Attention kingfishers, mascot showdown is approaching! On November 22 our mascots will be competing at Auburn High! For only $10 you can grab your ticket from Ms Mullane in room 111, you don’t want to miss out!
Scare Hunger
Did you know that 22% of children in Nova Scotia live in food insecure households. That is about 60 000 kids. SHS Me to We invites you to help scare hunger! Join us October 31st by going door to door collecting non-perishable food donations for the beacon house! All food donations are due to room 103 by 3pm Friday November 2nd
