Weight Room Wednesday- All girls that are interested in coming to the weight room on Wednesday at lunch please meet Ms. Jeffrey there starting today. Come dress and ready to have some fun! See you there. The Fitness Center is available most days to students too. Come take advantage!

Today’s black history month fact is about Marjorie Turner-Bailey from Lockeport, who was one of the youngest Canadian runners to ever qualify for the Olympics. She competed in the Olympics, Commonwealth Games, and Pan-AM Games. She was inducted into the Nova Scotia Sports Hall of Fame, and the British Colombia Sports Hall of Fame.
Girls Curling
Congratulations to the Sackville High curling team on their 10-0 win over Prince Andrew yesterday. The win earns them a spot at Provincials next month in Truro. The team of Amelia Richardson, Eden MacDonald, Gillian Blaney and Emilie Proulx returns to action next Thursday afternoon in the regional gold medal game. Good luck!

Any students who would be interested in planning activities or events for Mental Health week in May, could you please drop in to see Lynda in the Youth Health Centre in Room 325 and we could arrange a date/time to discuss your ideas. I will provide food for this meeting. All welcome to come ....bring your creative ideas and let’s plan an awesome week.

Boys/ Girls Rugby
Reminder to students interested in playing rugby, practices for both boys and girls will be on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s after school in the gym! Bring active wear! All are welcome to join!
