Wrestling
Big event this weekend! Sackville High will be hosting the Regional and PROVINCIAL Wrestling tournament this Friday and Saturday. The meet will start on Thursday around 11:00 am. If you have a free period you are welcome to come and watch. Our wrestling team is very competitive and hopes to bring home a few medals and maybe a banner this weekend! Come support your Kingfishers!
Dramafest
All students who have signed up to participate in the school play and this year's dramafest, please come to a very important meeting in the drama room (#321) at lunch on Friday.
Concert Band
There will be Concert Band after school on Friday
Guidance
Grade 10 and 11 course selection: is starting Monday March 4. Directions will be posted on the school website on Monday. Printed forms will be available in student services and assistance will be available in the computer lab room 113 during lunch times. Students may also book individual guidance appointments for course selection assistance.
Hungry Bowls
If you like soup, and you like homemade pottery, come to Hungry Bowls! We'll be eating soup supplied by our Skills Nova Scotia chefs, Megan Bowness and Kadence Minhas, out of bowls made by our Career Development 10 students. The event will take place in Ms West's art room at 6:00 PM next Thursday. The soup costs $5 per bowl, and if you wanna take the bowl home with you it's an additional $15. All proceeds go to Feed Nova Scotia. We can't wait to see you there!

Reminder to grade 9 Aboriginal students to bring in your parent consent form for March 4th trip, if you are planning to attend.
Bus Change
Don’t forget that those students who normally travel on bus 211 will be traveling on bus 218 for the rest of the week.
YHC
The Youth Health Center is hosting GSA this Thursday in Room 325 at lunch time All interested students and staff are welcome to attend.

Today’s last black History Month fact is about William Edward Hall, the first person of African descent, first Nova Scotian, and first Canadian to receive the Victoria Cross, which is an outstanding honour.
