Field Hockey
Congratulations to the girl's field hockey team on a great season! The team lost a tough match to # 2 Citadel 5-2 Allison Withrow scored both goals for the Kingfishers. Allison and Maddi Gass have been named to the All Star tram playing next Weds in the All Star game. Well done Kingfishers.
NSSAF
On Friday the NSSAF hosts the Celebration of School Sport luncheon. A reminder to congratulate student athletes Allison Withrow, Abraham El Jakl and International rep Renee Zevat and Coach Phil Parker. This wonderful group will represent Sackville High! Congratulations!
Girls’ Rugby
Girls rugby team plays today at Cole harbour field against eastern shore at 4:45 ! Be sure to come out and support the team!!! And reminder that practices are now on Mondays.
Choir/Concert Band
There will be Choir today at Lunch (Thurs). Please make an effort to be in attendance. There will be Concert Band after school on Friday
Track & Field
Track and Field practice today, Thurs at MET field at 3:00 pm-4:30. Please attend if you plan on participating in track.
Student Council
If you are interested in being a part of the Student Council 2019-2020, then pick up your application form from the office or from Mrs. Mullane in room 111. Deadline to return forms for executive is May 2, 2019, all other positions by May 8, 2019.
Grade 9 Social
Calling all grade nines!! The grade 9 social will be Thursday, May 2nd from 6:00-8:00. It will be a PJ night full of games, challenges, free food, and fun! We hope to see all grade nines there!
Scholarship Application
The scholarship applications are now available for pickup in the main office. Your Hire A grad forms are due Wed, May 8. Please get these into the main office as soon as possible.  As well the applications for scholarship are due on Monday, May 13 no later than 3pm. There will be no late applicants accepted.
Opportunity Place
Do you need a resume? Do you have one but you think it needs some work? Due to the high demand of students looking for help with resumes, Mrs. Tasco will be holding resume workshops in her room (next to the gym) on selected dates between April 29th and May 7th. For more info, please see Mrs. Tasco directly. Don't delay, space is limited!
