Congratulation’s to all our track and field athletes moving forward to provincials next week at Acadia-Hailey Giffin 1st in shoot put/ 2nd discus, Daniel Surrette 4th in Hurdles/ Garrett Malloy 3rd 100m, 3rd 200m and 2nd long jump/ Shane Doyle 2nd Javelin and our 4 x 100 m relay team.

ATTENTION EVERYONE! This your last chance to get tickets for the Aboriginal Dream Catcher Mandala. Tickets are $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00 and E-transfers are welcomed. The draw will be at noon time today. See Theresa for tickets.

Awards of Excellence
Thank you and congratulations to all the students who were presented with awards of Excellence yesterday afternoon. The awards were presented to students who had an average of at least 90% in their first semester and first term marks of this year. The students with the top 3 averages for each grade level were: Grade 9: Eden MacDonald and Amelia Richard tied for third with an average of 95.88, Anna Benwell with an average of 96.38 for second place and Matthew Hayes and Bridget Hillier tied for first place with an average of 96.63 Grade 10: Third place: Kaitlin Davis, average of 95.86 Second place: Kendra Casey, average of 96.43 First place: Taylor Adams and Shylo Farzavandi-Barnett tied with an average of 96.57 Grade 11 Third place: Sarah Hunt, average of 94.88 Second place: Amy Hicks, average of 95.14 First place: Deana Symes, average of 95.50
Phys Ed Leadership
Tues June 4th 2nd period Physical Ed Leadership 12 class will be hosting a school event called Carnival of Wellness. Teachers are asked to see Ms Coughran if they would like to run an activity. There will be lots of activities offered, carnival activities on the field and free food!! Next week students will start setting up for activities.
International Students
On Friday, May 24th, would all International students please meet in room 227 at 2pm. Joaquin Berzuznza will be hosting a Map Signing event for all International students to take part in.  On Friday, May 24th, would all International students please meet in room 227, at 2pm with teacher permission.
