JF Girl’s Soccer
Varsity girls soccer won 14 to 0 against J L Isley on Tuesday. They play Millwood today at 4 pm at Weir field.
Open Gym
There will be an open gym Friday 3-4:30pm for everyone who wants to play.

Crystal Growing Comp
Any students interested in participating in this year's National Crystal Growing Competition should see Mrs. Doyle in room 303 sometime before Friday of this week.
Mascot
Anyone interested in being Mascot for the 2019-2020 year please see Mrs. Mullane in room 111. You will be participating in Mascot Showdown and making appearances at school events.
Dalhousie University
Discovery Day is happening at Dalhousie University on Wednesday, November 13th. It is an exciting opportunity for students in grades 10 - 12 to explore careers in medicine and health sciences via a keynote lecture, interactive workshops and a career panel of experts from various disciplines. Students will gain a clearer picture of what it’s like to be a health professional by interacting with researchers, clinicians and educators in their real-life work setting. Any students (grades 10-12) interested in attending
Student Athlete
ALL student athletes participation on a team must complete their emergency contact/ medical info form online on the athletics website. Please confirm with your coach when completed or see Ms Jeffrey for further info.
Boy’s Hockey
Boys’ hockey try outs start this Friday at the Sackville Arena from 8:00-9:30. Tryout fee is $30. Please see the signup sheet in the Phys Ed hallway.
Dance
Hey Justice! Hey Maddie! Did you know our only dance this year is coming up? No way! Yes girl! Our ONLY dance this year will be Thursday, September 19th from 7-10pm. Maddie how much does this dance cost? Well that’s a good question. Its $8 a ticket, or $10 at the door! Tickets will be sold by Council Members or Mrs. Mullane in room 111. Come out to Bright Night and bring a friend!
Football
Be sure to come out and support your Kingfishers at the Community Bowl next Saturday when Sackville High takes on Lockview at 2 pm at Met Field. Tickets will be $5 at the gate.
ASSW
September 30th is Orange T-Shirt Day for honoring the Aboriginal students who attended the Indian Residential Schools throughout Canada. Students can purchase a T-shirt for $10.00 from Ms. Meuse, the Mi'kmaq Indigenous Student Support Worker - Room 229A, across from the library. Proceeds to go to the SHS Indigenous Program. To All Aboriginal Students: If you know you have Aboriginal ancestry in your family line, please stop by to see Ms. Meuse anytime. There are no obligations other than to meet and greet. Ms. Meuse is in Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
