Mascot Showdown
Hey, hey, hey everybody!!! Mascot Showdown is in a few days, and we just wanted to remind everybody we’re having a VERY important meeting THURSDAY at lunch in room 111. Please attend this meeting! We will be handing out tickets, cheers, and some super cool information. SEE YOU THERE!!
Movember
Movember facts!! 1. Did you know that Movember is observed in over 20 different countries? 2. Movember has raised over 600 million for prostate cancer research, since its start, 11 years ago.
Football
The football team lost their semi-final game on Saturday in Sydney by a score of 21-0 ending their season. Mark Mombourquette, Matt Murphy and Kobe Croxen had strong games. The coaches would like to thank the players for their efforts this season. All players are expected to report to the locker room immediately after school today to pick up all of their personal items and turn in all of their football gear.
GSA
The GSA will meet in the Youth Health Centre at lunch on Thursday.
Band/Choir
There will be Band after school today. There will be choir at lunch on Wednesday
Boys Volleyball
Boys Volleyball plays their first play off game Tuesday at 6:00 pm here at SHS vs CPA. Come out and support your Kingfishers!
Boys Basketball
BOYS Basketball is hosting the annual Subway Classic this Friday and Saturday. All students are welcome to attend Friday's 2:00 pm game against JL Ilsley with your teacher's permission. COST is a Toonie! A portion of the gate will go to Laing House to support Adolescent Mental Health. See you at the game!!
