Grad Photo
There has been a change with the grad photos for this week. For any grads who have not signed up to have their grad photos taken please go see the photographer in room 227, they will be doing grad photos on Friday instead of the group photos for this week. The group photos will be done on the retake day.
Prom
HEY KINGFISHERS! All Candy Cane Grams purchased last week from Prom Committee will be handed out during C block today!
Wrestling
Congratulations to the Sackville High Wrestling team that competed this weekend in Hants East High School. The team dominated this weekend in their quest to win another provincial championship. The entire team won medals Six gold medals were earned by: Ashley Gallant, Maya Jackson, Akwaima Akpan, Colin Briand, Blake McEwen- Adams, Chloe Snow, Evan Overbaugh. Two silver medals were earned by: Ethan Mullholland and Jessica Roach and a bronze was won by Thomas Allen. Congratulations to the team. It is still not too late to join if anyone wants to join the team. Practices are every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday after school from 3:00-4:30. Come try out and you will have a strong opportunity to be on a provincial championship team.
GSA
The GSA will meet in the Youth Health Centre at lunch on Thursday.
Student Council
Oh my GOSH it’s HOLIDAY spirit week! Wow! Justice your outfits so cute! What are you going to wear tomorrow? (Announce theme and outfit) well that’s so exciting, we have some crazy lobby activities happening. So come on down!
ITS TOY DRIVE TIME! Don’t forget to bring in those new or gently used toys to a wonderful cause! We will be accepting donations all week in Student Services, all new toys are going to Adsum House, a women and children shelter, and all used toys will go to Beacon House! Anyone interested in purchasing a Rafiki must see Ms Mcgrath in room 103. Thank you! Happy holidays.
Yearbook
It’s holiday season which means yearbook is on the hunt for photos! Get those smiles out because someone’s coming around taking pictures! Say CHEEEESE!
Girls Hockey
If you see A Kingfisher Hockey girl in the hall today....you should give her a big HIGH FIVE as we took it to Millwood on Friday on their home ice winning 2 - 1 !....Leading the way for our kingfishers was #4 Amelia Fifield ....working hard and getting the puck to Ameila was Brennah Himilman and Mikenna Renard. With a score of 1-1 Captain Amy Hicks scored the goal to win the game and once again it was the hard work from Mikenna Rinard getting the assist! Your Kingfishers are back on the Ice tonight to face Auburn at the arena at 4:00!! GOOOOOO KINFISHERS !!!!!
Boys Basketball
The Varsity boys basketball team traveled to Parkview Education Center this past weekend in Bridgewater. They ended up coming in second place losing in the Final game. Mark Mombourquette was awarded tournament MVP. Congrats to the boys for playing hard in all 3 games this weekend. There will be practice tonight @ 6:00pm.

Career Development
The Career Development 10 class will be hosting a crib tournament from the 17th to the 19th in the main lobby at lunch. We will be selling spots to enter the tournament from the 11th to the 16th. to enter the tournament, bring either 2 dollars or 2 non-perishable food items. Sign Up Now!
Green Team
Attention Kingfishers! The Green Team has a very special project coming up this year. We are building a planning team for our pollinator classroom project. Are you a leader? Do you love the environment? Do you want to improve your school community? Then you should fill out an application for the Outdoor Classroom Planning Committee. Please See Mrs. Oster in room 310 for an application. All Applications Are Due December 18!!
Me to We
Our Me to We club is hosting a toy drive NEXT WEEK! That’s right, you heard me. A toy drive where all NEW toys will be donated to Adsum House, and all used toys will go to Beacon House. We are hoping to donate a lot, so make sure you donate to this wonderful cause!
Girl on Fire
