Scholarship
The Sackville Heights Community Centre is offering a $1000 scholarship to a Grade 12 student from Sackville High that will be entering post-secondary studies in the fall. A 1000 word essay and 2 letters of recommendation are required. Please see Guidance to pick up an application form!

Do you currently want to find a job, or are you preparing to get one in the summer? In order to get paid by an employer you need to have a Social Insurance number. If you don't yet have one and would like to apply, drop by and see Mrs Tasco and she will help! If Mrs Tasco is not here, her email and phone number are on her door by the gym, so send her a message.
Wrestling
Congratulations to members of our wrestling team that competed this past weekend at Kings Edgehill School. Gold medals were won by: Connor Steele, Evan Overbaugh, Blake McEwan Adams, Chloe Snow and Maya Jackson. Silver medals were won by Ethan Mullholland, Jessica Roach, Ashlea Gallant and Colin Briand. Bronze medals were won by Emily Beals, Emma Drake and Thomas Allen. There will be practice on Wed Thursday and Friday after school this week. This is the last week for people to try wrestling - there is no experience required.
Mathleague
Ms. Mullane and Mr. Vincer would like like thank all of the mathletes who attended Math League this past Saturday at St. Mary's University. Deana Symes, Sarah Hunt, Pauline Han, Cara Kinn, Emma Reeves, Sam Melancon, Dominick Lapierre, Thai Nguyen, Ethan Black, Kieren Black, Khai Tra and Cole Renard represented Sackville High very well and are looking forward to Game 2 in February. Go Math go!

Attention SHS athletes. Do you want to be bigger/faster/stronger in 2020? Then bring a parent or guardian to the info session Tuesday at 6:30pm in the SHS cafeteria with a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist - Coach Laycock - who is also the Head Coach of our very own the Football program. This program is designed to build muscle and improve mobility and overall endurance. In short make you a better athlete no matter what sport you play. It will be starting at the end of the month so don’t miss out to get on board the Gain Train!!! Reminder This is not just for football players - All are welcome and encouraged as there will be multiple options available!
