Curling
The girls team (MacKenzie Hiltz, Amelia Richard, Eden MacDonald and Gillian Blaney) will be playing in a regional semi-final game today with a possible birth in the provincials on the line. Good Luck!
Girls Hockey
Congrats to our Girls Hockey team on a great season. The team played a tough game against East Hants on Friday and lost out on a berth in provincials. Things look good for next year!
Band
There will be Band after school today. There will be choir on Wednesday and Thursday.
Boys Hockey
Boys hockey won a huge game on Saturday night 6-3 over Eastern Shore. Josh Jackman and Owen Murphy had 2 goals, while Dylan Hatt, Kieran Black also scored one each. The team ended up tied with a 3-1 record in round robin play with ES and Sommet, but lost the tie breaker. The team will play a qualifier to have a shot to get to provincials- date and opponent to be announced.
FIELD HOCKEY TRYOUTS/ TRAINING
This Weds 3:00-4:30 Everyone welcome. Bring shin guard and mouth guards.

The GSA will meet in the Youth Health Centre at lunch on Thursday

The SHS Writer's Club will be meeting today in room #230 starting at 11:30 until 12. If you like to write, stop by and check it out.

NSSSA
If there are any students interested in registering for the NSSSA Inclusion Conference as either Delegate Participants, or Delegate Buddies- please see Ms. Smith in room 228 to get an application. This year's conference, named Resilience 2020, will bring together students from across the province for a day packed with lots of opportunities to meet new people, sessions to develop teamwork and personal leadership skills and tons of fun for everyone. As a Delegate Buddy, you will serve as a guide and a friend to all delegates and help them navigate the conference. There is a Keynote address and Talent show at the end of the day. The Registration forms and fees are due back by April 1 and the conference is scheduled for April 19th at Mount Saint Vincent University.
Community Prom
Your Prom committee will be hosting a gift card bingo Thursday, Feb 27 at 6pm. Tell your parents, bring your friends. Cost $10
