Hey Kingfishers, the Sackville High Jack.Org chapter is looking for new Mental Health Advocates! If you are interested in learning more about how you can be involved with Jack.org please join us Tuesday Nov 9th in Room 112 at lunch! There will be snacks!
Boys Hockey
Another Big 16-2 win by the Boys hockey team on Wednesday against Island View. Daymain Brown got the win in nets. Jayden Hardie had another 4 goals and 3 assists. Hat tricks also by Ethan MacMillan and Jayden Thibodeau. Goals also by Carter Faulkner, Adam Maillet and Carter Moran plus Cooper Sinnott’s first high school goal. Big tournament starting today at the BMO 1:45 and 6pm against CPA.
Girl’s Volleyball
Congratulations to our girl’s volleyball team on their 3-1 win against PA. Player of the game was Idara Akpan.
Green Team
This month’s green goal is to keep First Lake clean! Please remember to put your garbage in the garbage bins and recyclables in the recycling bins to make sure First Lake stays nice and clean!
Improv
Attention Sackville High Improv team, our first practice is scheduled for today, Friday Nov. 5. We will be meeting in the drama room after school.
Job Fair
Are you interested in pursuing a career in the IT field? Will you have completed all classes in order to graduate by the end of this semester? If this applies to you, see Ms Tasco as soon as possible! You could be eligible for free training to become a Junior IT Analyst and be career ready by summer time.
Breakfast Program
After a year and a bit of not being able to use our Birdfeeder breakfast room for it is now back up and running. Please come in and have a bagel, milk, yogurt, whatever is there, to get your morning started off right.
Boys Soccer
The boy’s soccer team must return their uniform to Mrs Coughran in the gym by Friday.
Girl’s Basketball
It is important that all girl’s basketball players submit their permission forms today in order to attend and play in the Dalhousie tournament this weekend. Please hand your form in to Mr. Sarka or Ms. Coughran by the end of the day today.
