Mascot Showdown
Guidelines for Mascot showdown:
* those who purchased tickets must see Mrs. Mullane to get a ticket and instructions.
* bring empty water bottle to fill after you are in the event.
* no intermission, no food or drink allowed in the event.
* Bags are not allowed.
Athletic Banquet
The Athletic banquet is taking place on Tuesday, June 14th at 6:30pm. All student athletes are invited to the athletic banquet. It is very important all athletes attend if played all through high school or even just for one or two years! All SHS athletes welcomed! Book the night off for a fun event!
Potential Grads
Please go to your Powerschool to check the spelling of your birth name, this is important for high school diplomia. If anything is wrong please see Ms. Avery in Student Services to have the spelling checked.
Europe
Hey Kingfishers! Did you know that some schools in NS travelled to Europe this past March break and as well in April? International student travel is back on!! Would you like to experience a trip of a lifetime; as Sackville High is headed to Greece next April for 11 glorious days! If you are interested in more information about this incredible trip then make sure to drop by room 319 at lunch on Thursday June 9th. A few former students from previous trips may drop by as well to share their incredible experience on past trips. Be sure to bring a friend as well. Those that enroll on the trip get their name in a draw to win a free pair of "airpods". If you bring a friend and they enroll as well, get a second ballot as a chance to win! Hope to see you all on June 9th at lunch!
Scholarships
Hey potential grads. The scholarship information is in the google classroom for you to apply for. This is the final week to apply. There will be no applications taken after 3 pm Friday, May 27th. 
Valedictorian
Are you interested in being the Valedictorian for the SHS Graduating class of 2022? If so, check out the post in the grad classroom for additional details regarding speech submission requirements and the selection process. Deadline for submissions is June 1 2022.

Grad Song
Each year talented graduate songwriters and performers have collaborated to write and perform a song that celebrates the time the graduating class has had at Sackville High. Check the google classroom for more details.
