Band
There will be no concert Band after school. There will be a lunch time rehearsal on Friday.
Hockey
Ticket sales today at lunch in the main lobby for the Boys Hockey game against Millwood on December 20th at 2 pm. This will be a chance to watch a big game. Tickets are $3 and it would be during D block on Tuesday at the Arena.
Dodgeball
Hey Kingfishers! The long-awaited dodgeball tournament is finally here! Create a team of 6-8 people for $5 or just come to watch for $1 cash only. It will be taking place on Tuesday, December 20 during 3rd period (right after lunch). You can sign up using the link in our Instagram bio @shskingfishers or pick up a form in the main office. Registration closes this Friday at 3:00 pm so make sure to sign up ASAP! Staff is also welcome to make a team!
Candy Gram
Hey Kingfishers want to send a special surprise to a friend, significant other, or someone you’re crushing on? If the answer is yes, be sure to purchase a Candy Gram being sold in the Main Lobby at lunch for $1 this week from Monday-Friday!
Winter Spirit Week
Hey Kingfishers! Holiday week continues. Today is Festive Hat Day. Make sure you stop in the main lobby at lunch to play pin the hat on the snowman! Tomorrow is Holiday colours Day, Monday is Ugly Sweater Day, and we’re ending the week with Woke Up Like This Tuesday so wear pjs, crazy hair, and bring a stuffy. Keep an eye out for activities at lunch throughout the week and if you are take any photos from the week be sure to tag us @shskingfishers on Instagram to be featured on our story!
Equity Team
The Equity team will be holding a Holiday market and bake sale on December 15 & 16 in the main foyer. Come purchase a gift for yourself or someone else at amazing prices or treat yourself to some sweets. All proceeds are going back into the community.
