The is choir at lunch today. There is Concert Band After school tomorrow.
Improv
A big congratulations to our Sackville High Improv Performers who competed last night in this years Canadian Improv Games Regional competition, at Cole Harbour High. Their Story Event performance earned them the second highest score of the night, of 117 points. Way to go!
Jack.org
There will be a jack.org meeting today at lunch time in the schools plus room. Room 112
Badminton
Any students wishing to play badminton, Mr. Morash will supervise badminton courts in the gym on Wednesday evenings from 6 to 8 pm for anyone interested!
Girls Field Hockey
Hey Kingfishers! Do you want to try out a new sport? The first girls field hockey tryout is Thursday February 23 3:05pm- 4:30pm in the gym. If you currently have shin pads and a mouth guard please bring them! No experience necessary! See you there!
Green Team
Sackville High School Green team is hosting the annual adopt an animal campaign from February 21st until February 24th. If you would like to donate and learn a little more about our chosen animals (the moose and the orca), please join us in the main lobby!
SHS Community Prom
The Sackville High Community Prom Committee will be holding a bake sale today, February 22nd, in the main foyer. Come treat yourself to some sweets. We take e-transfer and cash! Also keep an eye out for posters around the school and all proceeds will go to help the prom committee have an amazing prom!
Black History Month
Hey Kingfishers, February is Black History Month. In order to celebrate this month we will be doing weekly Friday activities in the main lobby at lunch. This week’s activity is traditional games. Make sure you stop by on Friday at lunch to play a quick game and bring some friends! See you all there!

COSTA RICA 2024 Trip
Students who are interested in learning more about travelling to Costa Rica in April 2024 should attend a meeting on Friday, February 24th in Room 324 at 11:30am. We will be volunteering AND seeing the beautiful sites of the country!  There will be a mandatory meeting for Parents/Guardians on March 2nd at 6pm at the school.
Europe
There will be a mandatory meeting for all Europe travellers at LUNCH February 28th 11:35 in Room 319!  It is imperative that all travellers attend.  You will be given rooming sheets! As well, your Greece 2023 SHS Hoodie will be distributed! See you all then!
