Water Bottles
Attention Kingfishers! Today at noon Student Council will be distributing FREE water bottles to students in the main foyer of the school. Each student in the school can receive one water bottle with an SHS logo to keep. Please be patient and kind as these water bottles are being distributed. Again, you will be able to receive your water bottle throughout the noon hour today.
Big Crunch
Did you know that March is nutrition month? This week we will be providing you with nutritional facts and tips to help you make educated decisions about what you consume to fuel your bodies! Additionally, Mr. Sarka and Mrs. Kozuch will be organizing a Big Crunch Event where students will be provided with a locally produced apple to consume together - hopefully, we will hear all students crunching into their apple at the same time!
Craving something sweet? Often this is your body’s way of telling you that it needs water! The average person requires 2.7-3.5 litres of water per day for basic body functions. Since fruit contains water, your body receives the sweet signal hoping you will listen. So, be sure to reach for your water or a piece of fruit to curb those sweet cravings!
