Student Council would like to thank Mrs. Caiger, Mr. Crowe, Mrs. Doherty, Mrs. Doyle, Mrs. Engram, Maddie Gass, Mrs. C. MacDonald, Mmme K. MacDonald, Mrs. Norrie, Mr. Tasco, Mr. Victor, Mr. Sarka, Mrs. Chiasson, and Mr. Hickman for chaperoning the Dance Last night. You helped make it possible. There is a treat in your mailbox from Council to say thanks. Thank-you to the students who attended last night. You ROCK! Reminder to teachers to send your voting ballots to room 111 if you haven't done so already.

Costa Rica
Attention Costa Rica travelers! There will be a short meeting on Friday, May 5th at 11:30am in Room 324. All travelers and anyone interested in joining the trip should be there. Students can also see Ms. Trenholm or Ms. Macqueen for more info about this amazing opportunity.
Jack.org
Hey Kingfishers! The SHS Jack chapter will be taking you on a nature walk on Wednesday, May 3rd at lunch! We will be meeting in the main lobby at 11:30 where drinks and snacks will be provided. This is a great opportunity to relieve any built up stress and to get outside in the fresh air!
Girls Baseball
There will be tryouts Friday after school …be prepared to go outside.

Graduates & guest forms are now available in the main office.  Please fill out the forms and return them back to the office by May 1st to be eligible to purchase your ticket to prom.  ALSO: There is new information regarding student loans, please check google classroom for Graduating Class for grade 12’s.

Career Development
In preparation for students looking for summer jobs or other opportunities, Ms Tasco is inviting students to the Career Development room next to the gym at lunch on Wed's,  Drop by to get help with your resume and job applications! Bring a Chromebook if you can.
Grade 11 Lt-Gov Medal
Application for Lieutenant-Governor’s Education Medal is now available. The medal is awarded annually to two students in each school who has commendable performance in the courses in which they are enrolled and who has demonstrated qualities of leadership and service in the school and community. Open to all Grade 11 high school students. Students are to be nominated by their school. Applications are available in Student Services. Due date is Monday, May 1st at 9am.
