Health & Human Services class will be having a bake sale in the lobby, at lunchtime, May 18th. This is to support the Grad Breakfast project.
Athletics
Busy week coming up with athletics Monday and Wed Boys Softball, Mon and Tues Track & Field, and Tues, Thurs, and Fri Girls Softball. Good luck to all student athletes.
Track & Field
Today Friday May 12th there is a very important Track meeting in the gym with Ms McGrath to confirm events and get permission forms. All track athletes must attend.
Girls Softball
Girls softball team must pass in permission forms and money to Mrs Coughran by the end of the day.
Mascot Showdown
Hey Kingfishers! Are you interested in watching the competition of a lifetime? Mascot showdown tickets are available for sale in the Main Lobby today! $10 a ticket! This is your last few days to purchase one so don’t miss out!
Opportunity Place
Don't know what you want to do after high school or you don't know what is available to you? Do you want to know about full time jobs after graduating? Ms Tasco has been working hard on next week's "Equity-Focused Career and Resource Fair", so that all students can be exposed to a wide range of career opportunities, post-secondary resources, part time and summer jobs, free training and employment programs, and disability related resources and services. There will be over 50 booths set up in our gym on Wed May 17th between 9am and 12pm. If you plan to attend, make sure you come on your free, at the lunch bell, or check with your teacher to ensure it is ok to attend. You could also win prizes! For more info or if you want to volunteer, please see Ms Tasco. And make sure you come prepared with a resume - you never know what opportunities you might find!
SHS Community Prom
The Sackville High Community Prom will be selling freezies at lunch in the main lobby on Wednesday, May 17th. Freezies will be $2 each.Cash and e-transfer will be accepted, So come out and support the Community prom!
