Hey, just a reminder for those who haven’t bought their ticket, the last day is this Thursday June 1st. Please contact the prom at email@example.com. If you don’t purchase a ticket you will not be allowed in to the prom.
On Friday June 2, Blood Services Canada will be here during second block to offer free swabbing for anyone between the ages of 17-35 who wants to volunteer to join the registry and potentially save a life some day. It only takes 10 mins to register and then they collect a cheek swab. Stem cell donations are needed as a cure for over 800 diseases and only about 25% of people are able to use a family member for donation. Please come out and get swabbed on Friday.
The Lockview GSA is hosting "a friend called Margaret Cafe" on June 6th from 6-8pm. Please see Krista in the Youth Health Center room 325 for more information.
It is with heavy Hearts that we announce the cancellation of Mascot Showdown. This is not something that we ever wanted to do, however given the circumstances of the past 24 hours, coupled with the fact that this fire could last into the week, Bay View feels that it would not be at all fair or wise to host such an event. If you would like your money back or donate it to Phoenix House - please see Mrs. Mullane in room 111.
There will be a meeting in the football locker room this Thursday at 12pm for anyone considering playing football in September.
Hey Kingfishers there will be an athletic banquet on Thursday June 8th at 6:30 for all student athletes. There will be pizza and cake for those who attend. Tickets will be out on Monday and they are free so it wont cost you a thing, so put on your fancy clothes and come out and support your fellow student athletes.
Attention Grade 12s! Just a reminder that there will be a Food Drive at Grad Breakfast. Donations will get you extra prize draw tickets up to a maximum of 5 items. See you on the 30th!
Get Ready to Race for a Pawsome Cause! Sackville High is hosting a Mario Kart tournament, compete for a chance to win prizes. Tickets will be sold at lunch in the lobby for $3.00 from May 23 toJune 2nd. The competition will take place from June 5-9 at lunch in the cafeteria. All proceeds will be donated to the SPC. Spots are limited so register quickly.
