Health & Human Services
The Health and Human Services class wants to thank everyone who came out to the Grad Breakfast. Thanks to those who brought donations and to Mr. Hickman, Mrs. Mullane, Mr. Tucker, Lauretta and Karen in the cafeteria, Micaiah and our sponsors. See you on June 29th!
Athletic Banquet
Attention student athletes, the athletic banquet is on June 8, the grade 12 leadership class will be handing out tickets in the main lobby until June 5. You need a ticket to attend the athletic banquet and to make sure you have a seat with your team.
GSA
June is PRIDE month! PRIDE month is celebrated annually in June to honor the work to achieve equal justice and equal opportunity for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) individuals. In addition, it is a time for 2SLGBTQIA+ communities and allies to come together and shine a spotlight on the resilience, celebrate the talent, and recognize the contributions of 2SLGBTQI+ communities. You can show you're an ally who supports LGBTQIA+ rights by wearing pride colours throughout this month.

Stem Cell
On Friday June 2, Blood Services Canada will be here during second block to offer free swabbing for anyone between the ages of 17-35 who wants to volunteer to join the registry and potentially save a life some day. It only takes 10 mins to register and then they collect a cheek swab. Stem cell donations are needed as a cure for over 800 diseases and only about 25% of people are able to use a family member for donation. Please come out and get swabbed on Friday.
GSA
The Lockview GSA is hosting "a friend called Margaret Cafe" on June 6th from 6-8pm. Please see Krista in the Youth Health Center room 325 for more information.

Mario Kart
Get Ready to Race for a Pawsome Cause! Sackville High is hosting a Mario Kart tournament, compete for a chance to win prizes. Tickets will be sold at lunch in the lobby for $3.00 from May 23 toJune 2nd. The competition will take place from June 5-9 at lunch in the cafeteria. All proceeds will be donated to the SPC. Spots are limited so register quickly.
