Vocals
There will be Vocals at lunch Wednesday, Oct 5, from 11:35- 12:20 in the Band room! It's not too late to join us in some group singing. All are welcome. Bring your lunch!
Concert Band
There will be Concert band after school on Thursday, Oct 6,  from 3:05 - 4:05. We are still looking for more members to join us. Do you play a brass instrument or the Base Clarinet? Ms. Kay wants to hear from you!
Boys Soccer
Your Sackville High boy’s soccer team won again yesterday against Sommet 6-3 with outstanding offence and a stifling defence. Scoring were Chan 'WONDER BOY' Yong, Zak 'THE LEGEND' Maclean, Will 'THE GOAT' Denny, Colton' THE BABY FACE ASSASSIN' Walker, and Reece ' RAZZLE DAZZLE' Thompson with 2 goals. Congratulations boys. The next game is Wed at 6 verses Auburn at Weir Field. Come out and cheer them on.
Cafeteria

Chromebooks
If there are any students that have passed in a Chromebook request form and have not received their Chromebooks.Please see Ms Stiles in the Library. Thank you.
Basketball
Basketball Sign up sheets are up on the bulletin board. All grades are welcome to tryout.
Green Team
Are you interested in protecting the environment? Looking for an extra-curricular that looks good on a resumé? The green team will be having its first meeting on Tuesday, October 4th at lunch in Ms. Trenholm's room (room 311). All are welcome!
GSA
The GSA is holding a clothing swap up in the youth health center at lunch all week for students in need of gender affirming clothing. Come check it out!
Grads
StFX University is waiving the application fee for the month of October. This is a great opportunity for your students to save some money and receive an admissions decision in the early fall. For students to take advantage of this, they must input the promo code into the application where it asks for it on the pay-screen. The promo code is “APPOCT2022”
Classroom Codes
Every student should be a part of a graduating classroom. The codes for the classroom are posted in the main lobby by the bird feeder. Important announcements to the class will be posted there - make sure you join.
Post Secondary
On Weds, October 5th, there will be representatives from 42 post secondary schools vising SHS during first class. Grade 11 and 12 students will be called to the cafeteria during your allotted time that morning to speak to recruiters.
NSSSA
NSSSA is holding a grade 9 event on October 22. Registration opens today and closes on October 14. There will be forms in the main office or sign up through Metro NSSSA Instagram. The cost is $25.
Europe
If you are still interested in going to Greece 2033 you still have time to sign up. If you enroll by Wednesday October 5th, you will receive $200 off. Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity.
