This week, from Monday to Wednesday, is Chuseok.
Often referred to as "Korean Thanksgiving," this event is one of the most significant holidays in South Korea. It is a time for families to come together, pay respects to their ancestors, and enjoy traditional foods like songpyeon (rice cakes) and jeon (pancakes). The holiday also marks the harvest season, and many people participate in outdoor activities, such as playing traditional games and visiting family gravesites. Chuseok is a celebration of family, gratitude, and cultural heritage. Happy Chuseok to our Kingfishers celebrating this holiday!

There is open gym for basketball today after school for boys and girls who are thinking of trying out for the basketball teams.
Basketball tryouts are Oct 15th.
Come out tonight and cheer on the girl’s volleyball teams at their home games. JV plays LV at 6pm and Varsity plays JL at 8pm.
